I carefully select each board of prime maple myself, searching for stock that has the exquisite holographic internal fire for which flame maple is prized. The vibrant wood I use is the same quality that a master luthier would choose for the back of a fine violin. Each phone stand is finished using a time-consuming multi-step process using a finish that I make myself that enhances the subtle beauty of the graining of this lovely wood.
